Michael Cooper's Studio at Street in Somerset is
visited by thousands of people a year who share an interest in his work and the English
countryside. The Studio is one of the attractions of Clarks Village, the first purpose built factory shopping outlet centre in the UK. In the surroundings of the artist's own workplace you may see the largest collection of Michael Cooper's original watercolours together with many of the working sketches for the pictures. There are also displays showing how he goes about creating a
picture, how a greeting card is designed, a comprehensive selection of limited editions,
small prints and greetings cards. The Studio is situated upstairs above Marks and Spencer with its entrance opposite The Body Shop and surrounded by such internationally known outlets as Wedgwood, Jaeger, Laura Ashley, Royal Worcester and many others. With a restaurant, the car parks and the towns of Street and Glastonbury close to hand, a visit to Michael Cooper's Studio can make an interesting day out for all.
